FAQ

What is the difference between Microblading and Nano brows?

The main difference between microblading and nano brows lies in the techniques used, the tools involved, and the final appearance. Here’s a breakdown of both:

1. Technique -

Microblading: Involves manually creating hair-like strokes on the skin using a handheld tool with tiny needles. These needles make shallow cuts on the skin, depositing pigment to mimic natural eyebrow hairs.

Nano Brows: Uses a machine with an ultra-fine needle to create similar hair-like strokes, but instead of making cuts in the skin, the needle implants the pigment more precisely and at a controlled depth.

2. Tools

Microblading: A manual tool with a blade consisting of small needles is used to carve strokes into the skin.

Nano Brows: A digital tattoo machine equipped with a single, ultra-thin needle is used to implant the pigment.

3. Precision and Detail

Microblading: While it can create natural-looking strokes, the manual technique may not be as precise as nano brows. Over time, the strokes may blur slightly as the pigment spreads in the skin.

Nano Brows: The machine and fine needle allow for more precision and control, often resulting in crisper, more defined hair strokes. Nano brows are known for their ability to create ultra-realistic, fine lines.

4. Longevity

Microblading: Typically lasts between 12 to 18 months, depending on skin type and lifestyle. Oily skin types may experience faster fading.

Nano Brows: Can last longer than microblading, often 18 to 24 months, as the pigment is implanted more consistently and deeper in the skin. They may also fade more evenly over time.

5. Skin Types

Microblading: May not be ideal for very oily or sensitive skin, as the pigment can blur or fade faster due to excess oil production.

Nano Brows: Works better for all skin types, including oily skin, because the pigment is deposited more precisely, reducing the risk of blurring.

6. Healing Process

Requires a similar healing process to a traditional tattoo, with scabbing and peeling that typically takes 7-14 days. Full healing can take up to a month.

Nano Brows: The healing process is similar but may be slightly faster and involve less scabbing, as the method is less invasive.

7. Final Appearance

Microblading: Creates a natural, but slightly bolder look with hair-like strokes that may soften over time.

Nano Brows: Results in a more natural and detailed appearance, with ultra-fine strokes that resemble actual hair. The brows often look more refined and realistic. Both techniques offer semi-permanent results for fuller, natural-looking brows, but nano brows are a more advanced technique, offering greater precision and better results for those with certain skin types or who prefer a more detailed look.

What is a fine line tattoo?

Fine line tattoos create thinner and more intricate tattoo lines using 1-3 round liner needles, whereas traditonal tattoos create thicker bolder lines using 6-12 round liner needles. Both styles can incorporate black and grey or color ink, and both styles can apply to the same areas of the body.
